Named after Jock Fountain, a Kiwi who came
to Australia to meet his daughter's fiance, Barnie Andrew
Copplestone.
It so happened
that Copples was playing cricket the day Jock arrived so
the prospective father-in-law went straight from the airport
to the cricket where he promptly demolished 18 cans and
was immediately elected BNCC President. Note also that he went out to dinner
that night and fell alseep in his meal.
Sadly Jock is no longer with us but he will always be remembered
at Barnawartha North
